On my way to Cisco Live 2017

On my way to Cisco Live 2017

So I'm sitting in the hotel, taking advantage of the free Wifi, and using the time to wonder what this week might hold.

After many years in the networking industry, I'm finally on my way to my first CiscoLive event, hosted in Berlin. As one of more than 12,000 attendees, I know it's going to be crowded and busy, and I seem to have packed my agenda with lots of sessions on , and automation. These include some sessions on Cisco‘s IWAN, which I've had information on in the past, now it's time to see if the marketing information matches the technical.

My colleagues who are attending with me also seem to have chosen subjects around networking, and , so I guess there are key focuses in their customer base here too. We'll see what happens when they arrive over the next few days (some have opted for the three day pass option, rather than the full five day event).

In the meantime, I'm off to grab a bite to eat, and get some sleep. Watch this area for updates as I cover the sessions I attend.
